A new exhibit by Eileen McCoy, now at Liberty City Hall, features original oil paintings of recognizable places and still life paintings created in her Liberty studio.

McCoy is a lifelong visual artist, who draws portraits and paints landscapes and still life subjects. She draws the crowds, quite literally, through her caricature drawings at special events throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. She is a member of a global community of artists who paint and publish daily paintings online for show and sale, and recently completed her 100th daily painting.

This exhibit of "Local Color" can be seen at Liberty City Hall during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will run through the end of December.
